Movement for Actors Workshop

Come for a fun, creative and engaging time of movement to help develop characters and prepare for auditions as well as performances. We will start off with a gentle yet stimulating warmup. Then move into exploration of different elements of dance such as space, shape, levels and energy using theater and movement exercises. Our time together will end with an informal sharing of a creative movement piece in groups. No dance experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring some water and a friend!

Note: The workshop is based on a Movement class I taught for five years in the Professional Actor Training Program at Chattanooga State as a member of the faculty.
